Marshall Park was into full preseason with a friendly vs Yorkshire Terriers FC today

Yorkshire Terrier’s FC are no push overs with years of experience and talent. 1st half was odd as evens with possibly Marshall Park just edging the game with some good energy and passing spells. Chris Hargreaves hit a sweet 30yard shot after the ball broke to him. He kept it hard and low with keeper seemingly not going to get to it for him to pull off an excellent save.

2nd half started with Yorkshire Terrier’s on the front foot and taking he game to Marshall Park with new signing Goal keeper Christian Lloyd called into action a few times. Was not long till Yorkshire Terrier’s took the lead with a very well worked move and a 20 yard shot into top of goal. Marshall swapped a few players with some new signings getting a run out. For Mark to soon be breaking into the terriers penalty area to be tacked from behind. Penalty to Marshall park for Mark to step up and score. Marshall played some great pressure football not allowing the Terriers space or time on the ball. It was soon 2-1 as Kris Needham score a volley from 20 yards out after the ball fell to him after a clearance from a corner. Macca was tormenting the back 4 of the Terrier’s all after Shaun Jackson had been fouled. Macca stepped up and slotted the ball into keepers far left of the goal making it 3-1. Marshall made a few more rolling Nathaniel Brazier to get on the score sheet. Terrier’s by this point was out on there feet and no real goal threat at all. It was soon 5- 1 with Mark getting his 2nd of the game. For Macca to beat a couple of players and score into back of the net.

Game finished 6-1 to Marshall Park FC. Such a great attitude, spirit, determination, encouragement and match plan executed.
